Gertjan Hoetjes

Gertjan is a MPhil/PhD student at the University of Exeter, examining the impact of Internet technology on the Arab Gulf monarchies focusing on Kuwait and Oman. Gertjan acquired his M.Sc. in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam (2009) and his MA in Gulf Studies (2011) at the University of Exeter. Gertjan volunteered for Project Hope in the autumn of 2012 as Program Advisor. After returning from Palestine, Gertjan has supported Project Hope with report-writing, the development of an online media strategy and with marketing by creating new posters, infographics and setting-up several presentations about Project Hope in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
