FIREFLY DONATIONS PAGE
Firefly relies entirely on public donations - and, with no admin staff, all funds go directly to funding work with people, especially children and young people, affected by conflict and social division worldwide. The most helpful thing you can do is to set up a regular monthly payment, however small (£1.50 per month, for example, will pay for all the materials for one child to attend activities of their choice for the whole year). This allows project workers in Bosnia to build up a regular income and plan for the future.

How your donation helps
£10 pays for art/teaching materials for a project involving 30 children in Bosnia.
£20 pays for a child to take part in Firefly's projects for one month.
£80 pays for our children's New Year party in Bosnia.
£100 pays for one individual from minority or marginalised communities to have their work published or exhibited by us, or for one Bosnian child to attend our annual summer camps.
£150 pays the rent for our community project centre in Edinburgh for one month.
£200 pays the rent on Firefly's Bosnia youth centre for one month, catering to over 4000 children and young people.
£300 pays for a full-time youth worker in Bosnia for one month.
£500 covers all costs for our London office for one year, or for our annual Children's Activity Day in Bosnia.
£1000 pays for one full time community development worker in the UK for one month.
£2000 pays for our photography project for one year.
£3500 pays for our online project co-ordination for one year, allowing us to raise funds for small charities, link individuals to organisations for community development around the world, publish books, and co-ordinate partnerships and exchange events.
£4000 pays for our annual summer camps, allowing 50 Bosnian children from different ethnicities to spend time together, building community links and recovering from the trauma of conflict in a neutral area.
£5000 pays for a community project worker in Edinburgh for one year, or for the Firefly Arts Festival in Bosnia.
£15000 would pay for Firefly Bosnia to buy a youth centre in Brcko, removing rent costs and enabling it to become independent & self-sustaining.
