Ayesha Carmouche

Ayesha volunteered with Project Hope in 2012. She works for the CORE Coalition. Previously she led the advocacy and communications work for ActionAid in Palestine, where she was based in Hebron and worked on issues of corporate investment in the occupied territory. Prior to this, Ayesha was the Policy and Parliamentary Officer for the charity INQUEST, and coordinated the organisation’s work on state and corporate accountability following a death in custody or detention and produced policy work on areas of criminal justice, mental health and immigration reform. Ayesha is an ambassador and jury member of the European Youth Award, a platform supporting digital and social innovations across Europe. Ayesha has a MA in Politics from the University of Glasgow and a MA in European Social Policy from the London School of Economics.
